The Convento can be easily reached either with or without the use of the expressway system. Via expressways, you can conveniently get off at the Silom Exit from Route 2 or the Rama 4 Exit from both Routes 1 and 2. The Convento is located in mid Convent Road, which is joined by Sathorn Road at one end and Silom Road at the other. The Convento can be clearly spotted with its unique wood exterior and the K-Bank ATM machine.
For vehicles, there are also several short cuts heading our way; however, the most frequented routes lead from the following:
a.) From the Silom-Rama 4 intersection, a left turn off Silom Road takes you to Soi Saladaeng. Make a right into Soi Saladaeng 2 (sub-soi) and then a left at the end of it into Convent Road. From there, the Convento will be on your left just ahead of St. Joseph’s Convent.
b.) Heading in-bound on Rama 4 - either coming off the expressway or from Sukhumvit - continue up the Thai-German Flyover. Upon reaching the end of the flyover, immediately hang a left and turn into Soi Saladaeng 1. It is the first street on your left, where the U-Chu-Liang Tower stands. Stay on Soi Saladaeng 1 until you reach the end (3-way intersection), then turn right onto Saladaeng Road. Keep straight until you reach Soi Saladaeng 2, then turn left into it. At the end of Soi Saladaeng 2, make a left. This brings you to Convent Road, and The Convento will be only 20 meters away on your left. |
